History

Life today demands an escape from the routine and what better way than to spend precious moments at Lal Mahal Palace. The Palace was the hunting lodge and a forest retreat of the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur.
Maharaja "Sawai Madho Singh ji" initiated the construction of this Palace at the end of 18th century. Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh (1881-1922), G.C.S.I., G.C.V.O., was born in 1861 and succeeded the throne in 1882, he was distinguished as a Ruler for his enlightened administration.

Set on the picturesque and idyllic lawns overlooking the palace, these tents have traces of oriental influence and elegantly fabricated interiors. The tents include a spacious bathroom  consisting of  bathtub on a  tiled floor  with
