History

Kankarwa Haveli is a fine heritage hotel situated on the bank of the Lake Pichola. The hotel Kankarwa Haveli offers magnificent view of the Lake Pichola and well-known City Palace. Constructed in between the years 1832 and 1840, the Kankarwa Haveli is family owned and is located at a distance of 60 kilometers from the main Udaipur city.

Accommodation :

Some rooms face the lake while others face the courtyard. Every room has a white tiled bathroom with hot water available 24 hours a day. Some bathrooms are equipped with tubs as well as showers and all have western type toilets.
You will be delightfully surprised by which ever room you choose, for each is unique. Kankarwa Haveli maintains its old world charm, and resembles a home rather than a hotel. There are no telephones or television sets in the rooms to upset the tranquility and serenity of this beautiful haveli.
 

Facilities

: The rooftop commands a magnificent view of Lake Pichola, the Lake Palace Hotel, the City Palace and the Jag Mandir Palace. Morning light is particularly suited to photography. Clients are welcome to take advantage of the view and sunshine at any time or while having a refreshing drink or a meal.There is a secluded alcove with a jharokha on the first level with comfortable furniture; a place to enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake, meditate, read, relax or converse in private. Just off the courtyard and reception area is another larger gathering place for clients to meet, enjoy a drink and peruse many magazines, books and current newspaper.Laundry service is available in the morning and afternoon. Visa and Master Card accepted.

Restaurant :

All requests must be made in time for these special preparations. Breverages are available all times in the haveli. Besides mineral water, coffee, tea and soft at drinks may be ordered.
